GOBI is a sculptural series of ceramic creatures born from abandoned fragments gathered over years in my studios. Vivid, textured and quietly strange, each figure resurrects what was once cast aside, giving form and personality to the overlooked and the forgotten.

To make this work I returned to pieces I had stored away and the ceramic stains I have carried with me since leaving Amsterdam in 2002. Materials that had waited across continents and decades finally found their moment. And with it, a new life entirely their own.
